OUR VISION
In a fragmented and fast-changing digital landscape, business success now depends on anticipating and managing regulatory complexity in real time.
From evolving AI and data regulations to extraterritorial laws, trade sanctions, and technology dependencies, these risks no longer sit on the sidelines: they define strategy, valuation, and market access. Mastering this ecosystem is not optional: it is a strategic imperative to enable growth and maintain trust.

At Goossaert Law, we believe emerging and frontier technologies require a new definition of legal risk management: a holistic, cross-market approach that connects compliance with business execution, anticipates regulatory shifts, and turns risk into a competitive advantage.

This is the value we bring: clear insights, practical solutions, and trusted counsel to help organizations scale confidently and future-proof their business models.

OUR SERVICES

We assist European and U.S. businesses and investors in securing deals, building brand value, and remaining compliant through actionable recommendations.
Our work spans from multi-layer and high-risk compliance assessments - covering AI, data, and E.U./U.S. privacy frameworks - to the design of data governance strategies that anticipates regulatory developments.
We also help organizations assess their exposure to extraterritorial legislation and data sovereignty risks, as well as vulnerabilities linked to dependencies on technology providers.
In addition to legal risk management, we support organizations throughout the commercial process, from RFQ preparation and contract negotiations to the drafting and finalization of agreements.

OUR CORE SERVICES INCLUDE
DPIAs & CONFORMITY ASSESSMENTS
Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Conformity Assessments are key requirements for providers and deployers of AI systems. We deliver comprehensive, fast, and actionable documentation to support and accelerate your business.
TRANSACTIONAL DUE DILIGENCE
Securing investments requires addressing AI, privacy, and market risks. We help you anticipate AI-related litigation (bias, IP rights, contract review) and scalability challenges tied to regulatory compliance, conflicts of law, and data competition issues.
FRACTIONAL DATA/AI COUNSEL
Growing businesses often lack the resources to hire a full-time counsel specialized in AI and digital law. We fill that gap, delivering a tailored legal support (incl. calls, emails, contracts) and monitoring litigation risks - all for a predictable monthly flat fee.
